When the Rangers won the Stanley Cup in 1994

There’s a lot of excitement for New York sports fans now that the Knicks have reached the NBA finals for the first time since 1999.

They last won the title in 1973 – and the only other championship banners raised at Madison Square Garden since then were for the New York Liberty in 2024 and the New York Rangers in 1994.
