The Wisconsin Badgers had an eventful final day of May as they added four-star wide receiver Jai Jones.
On3’s Hayes Fawcett announced Jones would be committing to the Badgers, a commitment that comes just hours after Pete Thamel revealed longtime NFL personnel executive Morocco Brown would be joining the football program as its next general manager.
As for Jones, 247Sports names him the No. 6 player in Arizona and the No. 41 overall wide receiver in the class of 2027.
The Arizona native was deciding between the Badgers, California, and Arizona before he ultimately went with Wisconsin. For what it’s worth, this announcement comes immediately after his visit to Madison, which began on May 29.
Jones had 54 receptions for Chandler High School in 2025 for 922 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns.
Shockingly, this is the Badgers first wide receiver commitment in what has turned out to be an already loaded class of 2027.
