Motorcyclist dies in Lansing crash. What police are saying

A 29-year-old woman died Friday, May 29, in a single-motorcycle crash near the intersection of Olds Avenue and South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Lansing, police said.

Lansing police said the woman lost control of their motorcycle and crashed at about about 6:30 p.m. Friday. The woman was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

LPD spokesperson Jordan Gulkis said speed appears to be a factor in the crash.

Police ask that anyone with information regarding the crash contact the them at 517-483-4600.
