COSHOCTON − Vacation Bible school classes offer children a way to connect with churches, the teachings of Jesus Christ and with friends through activities such as crafts, games and songs.
Several churches in Coshocton County host these classes each summer. Here is a partial listing of some of the many classes in the area.
● A summer long church camp for ages 6 months to 12 is underway at Crossroads Baptist Church, 23247 County Road 621. Times are 5:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, except July 4, with main activities from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find daily themes and activities and register online. Summer camp registration is $10 with a $28 per day fee with optional field trips at an additional cost.
● Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God will be 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 1-5 at Roscoe United Methodist Church, 475 High St. Register online.
● Our Town is from 6 to 8 p.m. June 7-11 at Calvary Baptist Church, 46621 U.S. 36, for those in kindergarten to sixth grade. A celebration night will be on June 11. Register online.
● Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure will be 6:15 to 8 p.m. June 7-11 at New Beginnings Ministries, 331 Church St., Warsaw, for ages 4 to 12. More information is on the church’s Facebook page.
● Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure is 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 15-19 at Coshocton Presbyterian Church, 142 N. Fourth St. More information is on the church’s website.
● Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure is 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 22-26 at Perry Chapel Baptist Church, 19476 Perry Township Road 380, Warsaw. Register online.
● Illumination Station is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 6-10 at Beloved Ministries, 1456 Chestnut St. Register online.
● Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God is 6 to 8 p.m. July 12-16 at West Lafayette United Methodist Church, 120 W. Union St. West Lafayette. Register by calling the church at 740-545-6368 or email office@westlafayetteumc.org.
● Masterpiece will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 13-17 at New Life Christian Ministries, 727 S. Seventh St. Register online.
● Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God is 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 20-23 at Prairie Chapel Global Methodist Church, 45494 County Road 23. For ages 4 to sixth grade. More information on the church’s Facebook.
