Police shut down northbound lanes of the freeway between Warren and Joy roads as they investigated the incident. The closure was later pushed further south, to Ford Road, MSP said.

All lanes were reopened to traffic by 5:44 p.m., according to police.

Multiple suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the incident, MSP said. Authorities have not released additional details.
