In blow to Trump, South Carolina state Senate rejects new congressional map

May 26 (Reuters) – South Carolina’s Republican-controlled state Senate on Tuesday rejected a new congressional map aimed at flipping Democratic U.S. Representative James Clyburn’s seat, a rare rebuke to President Donald Trump from members of his own party.
