Wisconsin's Nick Boyd snubbed from ESPN's post-combine mock draft

Wisconsin Badgers superstar Nick Boyd is once again on the chopping block for the 2026 NBA Draft.

ESPN’s Jeremy Woo has had him as a Top 100 prospect, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to be one of the 60 players selected come June’s draft.

In Woo’s post-combine mock draft, he went with the obvious AJ Dybansta, Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer, and Caleb Wilson in his top four.

When looking through the remaining 56 draft picks, Boyd’s name is nowhere to be found. The fifth-year senior knows his age is working against him, but it’s not like that’s the only reason why he wouldn’t hear his name called in New York.

The 6-foot-3, 177-pound guard showed out at the combine with an impressive sprint time and was one of the leading scorers in his scrimmage game.

That said, Woo still has players like Emanuel Sharp, Nick Martinelli, Kylan Boswell, Bruce Thornton, and Ugonna Onyenso going in the bottom five, opposed to Boyd.

Remember, Boyd was taken No. 60 overall by the Washington Wizards in The Athletics’ mock draft, one that was notably released before the combine.
