Lubbock police are investigating a Saturday night crash that killed a pedestrian they beleived was walking in the main lanes of a North Lubbock street.
Patrol officers responding to a collision about 9:10 p.m. near the intersection of North Quaker Avenue and Princeton Street found 44-year-old Lonnie Lonjino Jr. Morin III dead at the scene.
An initial investigation indicates Morin was walking south in the main lanes of Quaker Avenue when he was struck by an SUV.
Officials said the driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and spoke with officers.
No arrests have been made.
