Jupiter softball has made it all the way to the state semifinals once again.
Two years ago, the Warriors were one win shy of a state championship appearance, but the program is back and more dominant than before in this year’s Class 7A state semifinals.
Jupiter (22-3) will face top-seeded Hagerty (25-4) on Tuesday, May 19, at 10 a.m. at Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park in Longwood, Florida, with a chance to advance to the state championship on Wednesday, May 20.
Jupiter has defeated Vero Beach, Boone, and Centennial by a combined 38-2 score-line, sweeping through regional play to reach the state semifinals.
Hagerty, meanwhile, enters Tuesday’s game as the regional’s top seed after defeating University, Spruce Creek, and Lake Brantley, among which were two separate 1-0 victories.
Jupiter’s last state semifinal appearance resulted in a 4-3 loss in eight innings against Western, two seasons ago.
