A Rochester woman has been charged after police said she stabbed a former manager during a confrontation at a Little Caesars restaurant on Dewey Avenue.
The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 13.
Employee injured, treated at hospital
According to police, officers responded to Little Caesars Pizza for a reported stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old employee with a stab wound to his arm. Police said officers provided immediate medical aid and applied a tourniquet because of significant bleeding before emergency crews arrived.
The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Suspect arrested after investigation
Investigators said the suspect, identified as Shadonis Dillwork, 24, of Rochester, had been involved in an altercation with the victim, who police said had previously been her manager.
Authorities allege Dillwork stabbed the victim with a folding blade concealed inside a key-style knife before leaving the scene.
Police said patrol officers, detectives and the Monroe Crime Analysis Center later located Dillwork at an apartment complex in Greece, where she was taken into custody.
