Tonight we finally learn the Jacksonville Jaguars schedule for the 2026 NFL season. The league schedule release will detail all 272 games across 18 weeks in the upcoming season, a pivotal one for the reigning AFC South champions.
The Jags know they’re playing back-to-back games in London, leaving six games for their fans to see at a limited-capacity EverBank Stadium amid another year of renovations. Fresh off a return to the Super Bowl (among other noted offseason revelations involving coach Mike Vrabel), the New England Patriots are the biggest ticket coming to “DUUUVAL” in 2026. The Pittsburgh Steelers under new coach Mike McCarthy are coming, as well.
When will those games be? The Times-Union is keeping tabs on the latest rumors and schedule leaks. Keep scrolling for the latest.

Jaguars London games
Jacksonville will play back-to-back weeks in London, England for the third time in four years. The Jaguars play the Eagles (11-6 in 2025) on Oct. 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, then take on the division-rival Texans (12-5) on Oct. 18 at Wembley Stadium. The Jags last faced Philly overseas in 2018, a game they lost 24-18. They last played Houston in London in 2019, losing 26-3.
Why do the Jaguars play in London so much?
Jacksonville has played 13 games in London, easily the most of any other team. Owner Shad Khan, who also owns English soccer club Fulham, entered an agreement with the NFL starting in 2013 to play one game a year in London as part of the league’s push to spread its international audience. They agreed to play two games in England starting in 2023 (the Jags played abroad just once in 2025) and can play up to three games there in 2027 when the team temporarily moves to Camping World Stadium in Orlando as their home stadium finishes renovations.
When does the NFL season start?
The first game of the 2026 NFL season will feature the defending champion Seattle Seahawks against a team to be named. The season opener will take place Wednesday, Sept. 9. On Thursday, Sept. 10, the Los Angeles Rams will play the San Francisco 49ers in a game played in Melbourne, Australia. The Jaguars will begin their season Sunday, Sept. 13.
