Welcome to Aronimink and the 2026 PGA Championship! Golf’s best tee off today in the first round of the sport’s second major, and it might get a little wet out there with rain in the forecast.
Last year’s winner, Scottie Scheffler, begins his quest for a fifth major title underway in the afternoon. Two-time reigning Masters champ Rory McIlroy, seemingly over the blister that cut off his practice round early, is after his seventh major and his first Wanamaker Trophy since 2014. Cameron Young comes in hot in pursuit of his first major victory after winning The Players Championship and the tournament at Doral two weeks ago. Can Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm bounce back from disappointing showings at Augusta to give LIV Golf some good publicity?
