Land near United Packaging tops Fond du Lac April property sales

FOND DU LAC – High-valued property transfers reached several million dollars last month.

The four most expensive Fond du Lac County property sales in April ranged from $900,000 to $6.9 million for land in Fond du Lac and surrounding townships.

Here are the top sales in the area from last month.

Land around United Packaging Inc. was most expensive

Fond du Lac County’s most expensive property sold last month was land on Morris Street valued at almost $7 million. The sale was recorded April 16.

A production facility for United Packaging Inc. currently occupies the property.

Property: 1800 Morris St., Fond du Lac

Value: $6,900,000

Parties: Zabel Holdings LLC to LGW Morris LLC

$3 million worth of agricultural land sold April 20

A town of Metomen property consisting of 14 parcels of agricultural land sold for more than $3 million, recorded April 20.

The land was previously owned by University of Wisconsin Foundation out of Madison and is now in the hands of Zabel Holdings LLC out of Brandon.

Johnson Street building sold for over $2 million

The Johnson Street building containing Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Nori Sushi and Grill, and U.S. Cellular sold for about $2.2 million, recorded April 27.

Both the buyer and seller have the same Neenah address.

Value: $2,160,000

Commercial property in Taycheedah sold in early April

A commercial building in the town of Taycheedah sold for $900,000, recorded April 9. With the 14-foot overhead doors, the Roberts Homes and Real Estate listing described opportunities for business, shop, office, storage or rental use.
