Why Jordon Vaughn could make roster push with Colts
Behind Jonathan Taylor, the backup running back role and the third spot on the depth chart are up for grabs. Presumably, some combination of DJ Giddens and Seth McGowan will earn those roles, but neither is considered an absolute roster lock either. Along with being productive as a ball carrier, the ability to impact the passing game — both as a blocker and pass-catcher — and special teams play will be important factors when determining these roles.
