Another week of high school sports has passed in Tuscarawas County, and we’ve narrowed down the list of nominees for our Times-Reporter Athletes of the Week.
From multi-hit games, to pitchers you don’t want to see on the mound, it’s time to cast your vote for your choice of the Times-Reporter Athletes of the Week for May 4-9.
The polls run until noon Friday.
Nominations for Athlete of the Week can be sent to sports@timesreporter.com by noon Sunday. Please include the athlete’s name, school and sport and a little about their accomplishment that week.
2026 spring Athletes of the week
March 30 – April 4: Nolan Rosneck, New Philadelphia track and field and Maddie Minnis, Dover track and field.
April 6 – 11: Tyler Shuss, Dover track and field and Brooklyn Davis, Sandy Valley softball.
April 13 – 18: Javen Johnshon, Carrollton baseball and True Tango, Garaway softball.
April 20 – 25: Caleb Crowthers, New Philadelphia baseball and Emilee Shepherd, Carrollton softball.
April 27 – May 2: Jace Witham, Carrollton baseball and Kiera Mason, New Philadelphia softball.
