Hull was arrested and charged with 15 counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

What led to Sarasota TikTok influencer Hullo’s arrest?

On April 30, deputies reportedly received a call about a suspect possibly possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

The suspect was identified as Hull.

According to the sheriff’s office, detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit responded to review the evidence and conduct interviews.

“Based on training and experience, investigators reportedly determined the materials appeared to contain links to websites used to obtain CSAM, as well as conversations discussing payment for files. Hull’s mobile device was seized at the conclusion of the interview to obtain a search warrant,” a sheriff’s office news release states.

“On May 6, 2026, a signed arrest warrant was obtained charging Hull with 15 counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material following the forensic examination of his mobile phone. This device contained images and videos depicting female children between the ages of 8 and 15 years old. Members of the Tactical Unit located Hull in the parking lot of his residence later that day and took him into custody.”

Florida penalties for possession of child pornography

On March 31, 2026, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill 1159, strengthening protections for children and expanding criminal offenses related to child sexual abuse material.

According to Florida Politics, the bill covers offenders who possess pornographic images of children under 12 years old and involve “sadomasochistic abuse” of a child, “sexual battery” or “sexual bestiality” involving a child, or any film, video or computer-generated images involving children.

Crimes classified as first-degree felonies carry a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, while second-degree felony convictions carry a minimum five-year prison term.
