Vote for the Varsity 845 boys lacrosse players of the week

The Varsity 845 boys lacrosse players of the week poll is online for April 20-26 and April 27-May 3. Information was utilized on reports gathered by Varsity 845 and nominations. Coaches are encouraged to provide their game reports in order for athletes to be chosen; they may also nominate one player from their team by Sunday afternoon.

One athlete per school is allowed per week. Each poll winner is ineligible for the following week.

Devin Csanko, Pine Bush

He had two goals in the Bushmen’s 15-2 loss to Cornwall on April 28.

Isaiah Foreman, Newburgh

He had 13 stops in the Goldbacks’ 14-3 loss to Wallkill on April 29. He had seven stops in a 14-1 loss to Rondout Valley on May 1.

Bryan Hagan, Middletown

He had 19 stops in the Bears’ 8-7 loss to Washingtonville on April 29.

Mike Holland, Minisink Valley

He had five goals in the Warriors’ 15-10 loss to Kingston on April 27.

Brady Magsamen, Pine Bush

He had four goals in the Bushmen’s 12-6 win over Lourdes on April 27.

Brennan Meyer, Kingston

He had four goals in the Tigers’ 15-10 win over Minisink Valley on April 27. On April 29, he added five goals and five assists in a 19-7 win over Goshen on April 29.

Luke McVey, Washingtonville

He had 13 stops as the Wizards bowed to Valley Central 9-5 on April 27. He had 14 saves in an 8-7 win over Middletown on April 29.

Christian Perron, Warwick

He had 12 saves as the Wildcats beat Valley Central 10-3 on April 29.

Cooper Sherry, Valley Central

He had eight saves (reaching 300 for his career) in a 9-5 win over Washingtonville on April 27.

Liam Williamson, Monroe-Woodbury

He had three goals in the Crusaders’ 9-6 loss to Minisink Valley on April 29.

He had five goals as the Vikings beat New Paltz 14-5 on April 20. On April 21, he added five goals in a 12-1 win over Wallkill. On April 24, he had three goals in a 17-1 win over Newburgh.

Liam Creeden, Washingtonville

He had six goals in the Wizards’ 12-10 loss to Minisink Valley on April 20. He had two goals in an 8-3 win over Wallkill on April 23.

Clayton Demonoko, Newburgh

He had 18 stops as the Goldbacks bowed to Lourdes 13-7 on April 20.

Joe Sepesi, Kingston

He had five goals in a 14-12 win over Delaware Valley, Pa., on April 22. On April 24, he had three goals in an 18-2 win over Middletown.

Anthony Severo, Monroe-Woodbury

He had two goals in a 7-4 loss to Highland on April 21. He had three goals and four assists in a 12-3 win over Pine Bush on April 23.

Nevan Stelmaszyk, Pine Bush

He posted 21 stops as the Bushmen fell to Warwick 10-8 on April 20. He had 10 stops in a 12-3 loss to Monroe-Woodbury on April 23.

Henry Wright, Warwick

He scored four goals as the Wildcats beat Pine Bush 10-8 on April 20. He had a goal in a 9-6 loss to North Rockland on April 25.

Anthony Greco, Rondout Valley

He had two goals and three assists as the Ganders beat Newburgh 14-1 on May 1.

Hunter Laviano, Goshen

He had three goals in the Gladiators’ 19-7 loss to Kingston on April 29.

Danny Sullivan, Cornwall

He had two goals and seven assists as the Dragons beat Pine Bush 15-2 on April 28. He had four goals and three assists in a 15-14 OT win over Fordham Prep on May 2.

He had four goals in the Panthers’ 14-3 win over Newburgh on April 29.
