On paper, the Indianapolis Colts have one of the easier schedules for the 2026 NFL season.
Taking into account projected win totals of each team’s opponents this season, Sharp Football ranked, from easiest to most difficult, the schedules of all 32 teams.
The Colts came in at No. 9 on this list.
Below is a look at who the Colts’ 2026 opponents are.

While we know who the Colts will be playing, we still do not know what the exact layout of their schedule will be. That can also impact the difficulty of it, beyond simply who the opponents are.
Long road trips, a lot of travel, and where the bye is located can all affect a schedule’s difficulty.
We also know that each season, teams that are projected to be good struggle, and there are a few that always surprise.
This offseason, GM Chris Ballard prioritized re-signing Daniel Jones — as well as Alec Pierce — with the belief that the success the Colts had through 10 games in 2025 can be replicated and sustained in 2026.
That said, it’s not as if Ballard is running things back either. There’s been quite a bit of roster turnover as well. But the big question that still remains is, how much did the Colts improve this offseason?
It’s now or never for Ballard and Shane Steichen. The Colts have missed the playoffs for five consecutive seasons.
