Summer vacations are likely to become more expensive as fuel prices remain high due to the ongoing Iran war.
Analysts estimate that domestic U.S. airfares are already up roughly 10 to 15%, year-over-year, and international flights are up closer to 20% in some markets. The worst could still be yet to come as Europe faces a potential jet fuel shortage that could hit by mid-May.
