HILLSDALE COUNTY — Early-season Hillsdale Area girls track and field standings show familiar programs at the top, led by Hillsdale Academy’s depth across the sprints, hurdles and middle-distance events.
Hillsdale Academy junior Lucy Cote has been one of the most complete performers in the area, leading the standings in the 100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles and 400 meters, while also appearing among the top five in the 100 and 200.
Camden‑Frontier sophomore Zailey Conroy has emerged as the area’s top sprinter, sitting atop the 200 meters and ranking second in both the 100 and 400, while Reading senior Abigail Spencer remains a top competitor in the sprint events. In the distance races, Hillsdale Academy continues to show separation, sweeping the top five spots in the 800 meters and placing multiple runners near the top of the 1,600 and 3,200.
The early standings set the stage for one of the area’s most anticipated meets of the season — the Hillsdale Area Best Meet — scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, at Hayden Park in Hillsdale. Below is a look at the Hillsdale Area Best girls track and field standings, updated through April 29, highlighting the top performers in each event.
