King Charles III and Queen Camilla will pay a visit to the 9/11 Memorial in Manhattan on Wednesday, April 29.
The monarchs are expected to meet with families of victims and first responders involved in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack. The year 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the attack.
The visit to New York City marks the third day of a four-day visit by the royals to the United States, the first by a reigning British monarch to the city since Queen Elizabeth II traveled there in 2010, USA TODAY reported.
