Ben Mann will get the chance to be more than just a roster filler for the New York Giants in 2026.
The Athletic’s Dan Duggan reports that the Giants are expected to give Mann the opportunity to compete with Zach Triner for the team’s starting long snapper job next season.
The Giants signed Mann as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL draft. The Boston College product played in all 12 games for the Eagles last season and recorded three special teams tackles. He spent the previous three seasons at Yale from 2022 to 2024 before transferring to Boston College in 2025.
The Giants signed Triner to a one-year, $1.2 million deal in free agency. The 35-year-old veteran now faces competition for the starting long snapper role with Mann’s arrival.
