Eric Acker, La Salle transfer guard, commits to NKU Norse

Eric Acker, a 6-foot-2 guard who played the past two seasons for the La Salle Explorers, has committed to the Northern Kentucky Norse, he announced on his Instagram story.

Acker averaged 5.8 points in 18.9 minutes per game in 26 games as a junior at La Salle, making 10 starts. He scored a season-high 17 points against Villanova.

Acker averaged 5.2 points in 15.6 minutes per game in 18 games as a sophomore.

As a freshman at Long Island University, Acker averaged 12.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 33.5 minutes per game in 26 games, making 21 starts. He earned all-NEC rookie team honors.

Acker starred in high school at Eagle Academy for Young Men II in Brooklyn.
