Walmart has 98 stores across New York, according to its website, and by the end of this year, nearly two dozen will be remodeled as part of ongoing efforts to modernize in-store and digital shopping experiences, the company announced April 16.
Plans to update more than 650 Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets nationwide were revealed in 2024.
Work at some New York stores already has been completed, including the BayTowne Plaza, Penfield, store, the Elm Ridge Center, Greece, location, and the Macedon, Wayne County, store.
