With the No. 24 pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns selected Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion on Thursday night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The Browns are getting one of the most elite wideouts in college football, who brings impressive breakaway speed and elusiveness to Sundays from Bryan-College Station. Concepcion hauled in 61 receptions for 919 yards and nine touchdowns, while also showcasing his ability as a punt returner for 456 yards and two touchdowns.
Concepcion transferred from NC State, where he was named the ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year during his freshman campaign with the Wolfpack. After his standout season with the Aggies in 2025, he was named an All-American by the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News for his outstanding performances.
Now, Concepcion will head to Cleveland, Ohio, and begin his professional football career with the Browns this season.
The electric wideout left a lasting impact on the Aggies’ football program and the college football landscape in 2025, which earned him an invite to the 2026 NFL Combine, where Concepcion was able to flash his speed, agility and exceptional hands to scouts from across the league. According to the NFL’s Next Gen Stats, he ranked 10th among all wide receivers at the combine with a 75 production score and was listed 27th with a 71 athleticism score, for a combined 77 (13th overall).
Concepcion will now be catching passes from quarterback Deshaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders in 2026, as he works toward becoming the next big star wide receiver in the NFL.
