FSU extends offer to 2028 safety from Alabama

Florida State has spent a ton of time recruiting 2028 prospects as of late. One of their latest targets is four-star safety CJ Craig-James out of Birmingham, Alabama.

FSU has extended an offer to Craig-James, which he announced on social media. They join a list of nearly 40 offers that include big-time programs like Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, LSU, Miami, Auburn, Colorado, Oregon, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and more.

Craig-James is coming off a strong sophomore campaign at Parker High School. He registered 37 tackles, four interceptions, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery (returned for a touchdown).

Rivals’ industry rankings have listed Craig-James as the No. 243 player nationally and the No. 13 safety. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder is also the No. 10 prospect out of Alabama.

During the month of April, Craig-James has taken unofficial visits to Tennessee and Georgia Tech. He hasn’t visited Florida State up until this point, which will be the next step in the process.
