New York Giants cornerback Paulson Adebo participated on Day 1 of the team’s voluntary three-day minicamp on Tuesday at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center.
The session, which lasted just over two hours, marked a key early step in the 2026 offseason program under head coach John Harbaugh.
Adebo’s presence comes after he missed the opening of the voluntary offseason workout program earlier in April. At the time, Harbaugh described the absence as a personal decision, emphasizing the voluntary nature of the activities. Subsequent reports indicated Adebo had remained in contact with the coaching staff, with no contract issues cited.
On the field, the defensive backs showed strong quickness in closing on short completions, a theme throughout the high-tempo practice.
The defensive backs reacting quickly and closing in on short completions was a common theme throughout practice. Cornerback Paulson Adebo would do it later on after a completion to wide receiver Darius Slayton.
Adebo also broke up a pass in the final team period, contributing to a productive day for the secondary as the Giants focused on communication, coverage fundamentals, and competitive 7-on-7 and team drills.
