Iowa basketball fans react as Ty'Reek Coleman commits

After Iowa basketball finally made a splash in the transfer portal through the commitment of former Illinois State combo guard, Ty’Reek Coleman, Hawkeye fans rushed to social media to express their excitment for the arrival of the 6-foot-2, 175-pound rising sophomore and how his presence could impact the team next season.

As a freshman last season for the Redbirds, Coleman was the team’s third-leading scorer with an average of 10.0 points on 50.4% field goal shooting, 41.6% from 3-point range, and 70.2% from the free-throw line, to go along with 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest in 35 games played.
