Michigan State football is the first power four program to extend an offer to an intriguing offensive lineman prospect from Ohio.
Kavon Blackmon of Springfield, Ohio announced on Thursday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Blackmon took to social media to make the offer from Michigan State known, posting about his offer on his X account.

Blackmon is currently listed as an unranked offensive tackle prospect in the 2028 class. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, and plays for Springfield High.
Michigan State is the first power four school to extend an offer to Blackmon, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from a few group of six schools, including Temple, Bowling Green and Toledo.
