Tuesday’s storms in Michigan caused roadways to flood and tornado warnings that sent people heading for cover across the state overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.
While officials have not confirmed if tornadoes touched down in metro Detroit, media reports said two tornadoes touched down in West Michigan Tuesday night. One of the twisters touched down in Otsego and the other in Carson City. Otsego is near Kalamazoo, and Carson City is in Montcalm County.
