Ex-Italiano's Restaurant in Mantua sells for $500,000

The top selling property the week of Feb. 20, 2026, in Portage County was at 10714 Main St. in Mantua Village,, according to the latest property transfers from the Portage County Auditor’s Office.

The property, a former restaurant with apartments above, was sold for $500,000. The lower level of the building at Main and Franklin streets, formerly was Italiano’s Restaurant. There are four large garage buildings in the back of the property that are leased for additional income. Four apartments are located on the second floor of the building − a two-bedroom and three one-bedroom units.

The building is a former Model T production facility, according to Cutler Real Estate.

Two properies in Garrettsville were sold during the same time period for $489,000, according to the Auditor’s Office. A plot of land and an adjacent home at 10966 Brosius were sold. The 2,128-square-foot home has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and was built in 2000. The home has a two-car garage, and the 4.9 acres of land has another large outbuilding with storage and work space, along with space to park several vehicles.
