Keyshawn Summerville made a big mark during his four-year varsity career in the Sexton basketball program.
And he is ending it with another all-state selection.
Summerville was a Michigan Sports Writers first team all-state in Division 2 after helping the J-Dubbs win CAAC White and district championships.
Summerville capped his strong varsity career by averaging 21.7 points, 5.2 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game. He broke the school’s career scoring record in January previously held by Ron Banks when he scored his 1,714th point in a CAAC White win over Portland.
The all-state honor was the third for Summerville, who was a first team selection last season as a junior and earned honorable recognition as a sophomore in 2024.
Freeland’s Wilson Huckeby led the all-state team as the player of the year. Freeland’s John Fattal was named the coach of the year.
