All-Desert Empire League boys' soccer team revealed. Who's on the list?

The Desert Empire League boys’ soccer race came down to the final game of the year, and it was Rancho Mirage emerging as the champions, just edging Palm Desert in the standings.

To the victor go the spoils as they say and when it comes to the All-Desert Empire League boys’ soccer team, the league’s coaches did show a lot of love to the Rattlers. The Aztecs are well-represented, too, as the league honored a deep and talented group of athletes from across the six teams.

There was no doubt, though, who the league’s offensive MVP was. That discussion began and ended with Rancho Mirage’s Jerome Carter. Carter was unstoppable this year, scoring 26 goals to go with 11 assists in just 17 games. Wow!

As far as the top defensive player of the year, the coaches landed on a shared honor as Palm Desert’s Elijah Bishop and Rancho Mirage’s Marco Sanchez split the honor.

Who else made the all-league team?

It’s time to find out. Here is the full team with first team, second team and honorable mention.
