Mackinaw City team bows out of High School Bowl tournament

Mackinaw City played Menominee in a High School Bowl matchup that was broadcast on Feb. 28, and lost by a score of 130-160.

Menominee will now advance to the second round where they will play Manistique. That episode is scheduled to air on March 21. 

Thirty-six schools from across the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin are competing in this season’s High School Bowl tournament. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m.
