Wall St opens mixed as investors weigh data, Middle East war

March 13 (Reuters) – Wall Street’s main stock indexes opened mixed on Friday, after sharp losses in the previous session, while investors assessed a set of economic data releases to gauge the interest rate outlook as the Middle East conflict widens.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 11.4 points, or 0.02%, at the open to 46,689.24. The S&P 500 fell 0.9 points, or 0.01%, at the open to 6,673.49​, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 113.7 points, or 0.51%, to 22,425.704 at the opening bell.
