Oceans Behavioral Hospital in Lubbock has announced a new program to help more people with their behavioral health.
The Virtual Outpatient Program, announced on Tuesday, will provide structured, evidence-based care and allow patients to stay connected with their personal and professional lives, according to a news release. This treatment option reduces travel and schedule changes, while also maintaining consistent clinical support, according to the release.
“Access is one of the most significant challenges in behavioral health care, particularly in a large region like West Texas,” said Janne Knight, CEO of Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Lubbock, in the release. “Our Virtual Outpatient Program allows us to extend care beyond the walls of the hospital and reach individuals across our communities who may otherwise delay or go without treatment.”
The new program works with the current inpatient and outpatient services, so individuals can transition services based on their needs.
“Care is delivered by experienced multidisciplinary teams who focus on safety, clinical quality and, meaningful progress,” the release stated. “Programs are designed to help individuals build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and support long-term recovery.”
