Voting is closed, and the Big Bend Preps Athlete of the Week winner has been revealed!
After a round of voting, Crossroad Academy guard Jabari Boahen is the Big Bend Preps Athlete of the Week. He scored 27 points in the regional final for the Scorpions to help book them a spot in the FHSAA State final four.
Crossroad Academy won its state semifinal game 45-37 and will play for a state championship against Williston at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, in Jacksonville. Boahen leads the team with 13.6 points per game and 4.2 assists per game.
Congratulations to Boahen and the finalists Brayden Smith (Florida High), Charlotte Reynolds (Chiles), Caleb Walker (Aucilla Christian) and Caleb Ondash (Taylor County)!
