Police identify man killed in crash Feb. 21 near Lansing airport

LANSING — A man who was struck by a vehicle and killed over the weekend near Capital Region International Airport has been identified as Andrew Enness, 22.

The crash happened about 4:20 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 in the 4100 block of Capital City Boulevard, near the entrance to the airport.

Ennes, who police said was a pedestrian, was found dead at the scene. Police did not release information on where he lived.

Police gave no details about how the crash occurred but said the driver who hit Ennes is a 26-year-old man and is cooperating with investigators.

Police initially gave the victim’s age as 23 but noted in a Feb. 25 news release he is 22.
