Brad Williams’ ‘The Tall Tales Tour’

Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Victory Theatre, 600 Main St. in Evansville. Tickets start at $26, not including taxes and fees.
Here’s how promoters describe the show: “One of the most in-demand comedians working today, Brad Williams cleverly navigating through his experiences as a little person, relationships, and everyday situations. His humorous and inspiring observations on disability, relationships, sex, and race consistently win over audiences; proving anyone can overcome their shortcomings.”
Evansville Thunderbolts hockey
Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Ford Center in Downtown Evansville. Tickets start at $21, not including taxes and fees.
The Thunderbolts host the Huntsville Havoc in Southern Professional Hockey League play. The team has designated Friday night’s game to be “Jurassic Night,” where fans can experience “a prehistoric adventure with dino races, roaring entertainment, and thunderous hockey action.”
Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates Bond film music
Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Victory Theatre, 600 Main St. in Evansville. Adult tickets start at $31 and can be purchased by calling 812-425-5050 or by visiting www.evansvillephilharmonic.org.
This performance, titled “Bond! James Bond” will celebrate more than five decades of iconic James Bond film music and features returning roadway favorite Dan Domenech and powerhouse vocalist Chloe Lowery, performing legendary songs including “Goldfinger,” ‘Live and Let Die,” “For Your Eyes Only,” “Thunderball” and more.
Orchid Escape at the zoo
Daily from Sunday, Feb. 15 through March 14. Exhibit is included with general admission to the zoo ($9 for adults, $8 for children ages 3-12 and free for children 2 and under).
Escape the cold and journey to South America at Mesker Park Zoo’s Orchid Escape inside the Amazonia exhibit. This six week-long exhibit hosts hundreds of artistically displayed orchids for all to see.
University of Southern Indiana basketball
Thursday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. at Liberty Arena on the campus of the University of Southern Indiana. Tickets range from $5 to $15 and are available at gousieagles.com.
The Screaming Eagles return home for Ohio Valley Conference men’s and women’s basketball doubleheaders against Tennessee State (Thursday) and Tennessee Tech (Saturday). Men’s games start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women’s games.
