The FSU Seminoles are working to land defensive linemen out of the transfer portal, something they have had mixed results with. So far, their only addition is Rylan Kennedy, and they have convinced Kevin Wynn to return after he announced he would be entering the portal.
While both are nice moves, they need more after 10 linemen entered the portal following the season. A new target could have emerged in Oregon outside linebacker Tobi Haastrup, whom the Seminoles recruited as a high school prospect last year.
Haastrup is originally from London, England, before he moved to Texas and started playing football as a high school senior. He took to the sport immediately, recording 48 tackles, 20.0 tackles for loss, 9.0 sacks, and 23 hurries. His production and athleticism caused programs across the country to pursue the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder.
He was ranked as the No. 265 overall player and No. 29 edge in the 247Sports composite for the 2025 recruiting class. He redshirted in 2025 for the Ducks and will have four seasons of eligibility at his next school.
While he ended up signing with Oregon, the Seminoles hosted him on an official visit and were a finalist when he committed, and could now have a second chance to land him. He is ranked as the No. 416 overall player and No. 52 edge rusher in the transfer portal by 247Sports.
