What college football games are on today? CFP schedule for Peach Bowl

Half of the national championship game is set. There’s one more College Football Playoff game to be played tonight to finish off the invites to Miami Gardens.

The grand finale will have an unofficial home team in Miami, which beat Ole Miss 31-27 on Jan. 8 in the Fiesta Bowl out in Arizona. Carson Beck threw two touchdown passes and ran in the game-winner with 24 seconds left to punch the Hurricanes’ ticket back to South Florida to play for their first national title since 2002.

Their opponent will be determined tonight at the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. Will the Hurricanes match up against Indiana, the perennial Big Ten doormat who has morphed over two years under Curt Cignetti into the country’s last undefeated team? Or will they get Oregon, who has played for the national title twice since 2010 but remains often overlooked in the Pacific Northwest?

The two Peach Bowl foes feature the potential No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks in the 2026 NFL draft in quarterbacks Dante Moore and Fernando Mendoza, who grew up in Miami and became the first player of Cuban heritage to win the Heisman Trophy. Whichever team wins tonight will look to leave Hard Rock Stadium on Jan. 19 with its first national championship.
