Beginning at 10 p.m. Jan. 4 and continuing until 4 a.m. Jan. 5, crews will close northbound I-35 and I-80. This section of the interstate will be closed for the same duration, starting on the evening of Jan. 5 and continuing through Jan. 6.
What detour should I take when the Iowa DOT closes northbound I-80/35?
While closures are in effect, northbound drivers will be directed to exit at University Avenue, driving east to 100th Street, then north as 100th Street becomes NW Urbandale Drive before rejoining I-80 at Meredith Drive.
