Pensacola police are responding to the 17th Avenue train trestle Dec. 22 after a man reportedly was hit by a train.
Officer Mike Wood, the department’s spokesperson, told the News Journal they received a report of a man being hit by a train at the train trestle.
Upon officer arrival, they discovered the man alert with a head injury. Wood said the head injury is not life threatening.
Motorists will experience delays near the train tracks as officers work the incident. The PPD says the train will be moved in approximately one hour.
