Sinton and London among key Coastal Bend changes in UIL realignment

The UIL released its realignment enrollment cutoffs for the next two years with notable shakeups across the Coastal Bend. 

Some of the major moves include London moving up from Class 3A to Class 4A Division II and Sinton moving down from Class 4A to Class 3A Division I.

Several Corpus Christi ISD schools are also affected with Miller, King and Moody moving down to Class 4A Division I from Class 5A.

Also at the 5A level, Carroll is moving up to Class 5A Division I with Veterans Memorial and Flour Bluff. Gregory-Portland and Ray will remain in Class 5A Division II.

The official districts for every sport will be announced in February during the 2026-2028 realignment release.

Here are the conference cutoffs for UIL realignment in 2026:

Class 6A — 2,15 and above

Class 5A — 1,305 to 2,214

Class 4A — 550 to 1,304

Class 3A — 246-549

Class 2A — 105-245

Class A — 104.9 and below

Here are the football division cutoffs from the most recent UIL realignment in 2026:

Class 5A

Division I — 1,830-2,214

Division II — 1,305-1,829

Class 4A

Division I — 896-1,304

Division II — 550-895

Class 3A

Division I — 367-549

Division II — 246-366.9

Class 2A

Division I — 175.6-245.9

Division II — 105-175.5

Class A

Division I — 57.6-104.9

Division II — 57.5 and below
