Coldwater Main Street presents activities this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5-6, culminating in the Saturday night Holiday Parade, to help you enjoy family and fun as you get ready for Christmas.
Friday, Dec. 5
Shopping and Activities – Throughout downtown, participating businesses stay open from 5 to 7 p.m. for evening shoppers.
Build Your Own Corsage — 5 to 7 p.m. at 68 W Chicago St. Create a festive corsage. Registration is required.
Paint Your Own Shot Glass & Karaoke from 5 to 7 p.m. at 17 W. Pearl St. Craft your own keepsake and enjoy karaoke fun.
Hot Chocolate Station — 4 to 6 p.m. at 67 W. Chicago St. Free hot cocoa to warm up during your stroll.
Free Candy Canes — All evening at Keep Smiling Dentistry, 72 W. Chicago St. Stop by for a sweet treat.
Elves’ Night Out from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Kids’ Place, 69 W. Chicago St. Drop-off event for kids: crafts, games, and snacks. Cost is $10 per child, $5 for each additional sibling.
Holiday Craft Activities — All evening at Children’s Museum of Branch County, 58 W. Chicago St.
Branch District Library Storytime & Crafts from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 10 E. Chicago St.
Ext!Caganza Variety Show at 7 p.m. at Tibbits Opera House, 15 S. Hanchett St. Live holiday-themed performances for all ages.
Saturday, Dec. 6
Santa’s Craft Station from 10 a.m. to noon at State Farm Insurance, 56 W. Chicago St.
Workshop: Tree & Clay from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Arts Alive Academy, 79 W. Chicago St. Create tree-themed and clay ornaments. Registration is required.
Christmas Ornaments & Crafts from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at J & B Shoes, 49 W. Chicago St.
Christmas Express Train from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 10 W. Park Ave. Hop-on and hop-off train rides through downtown.
Wands of Winter Performance 3 p.m. at Tibbits Opera House, 15 S. Hanchett St.
Ugly Sweater Party begins at 5 p.m. at 78 S. Monroe St.
Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 49 W. Chicago St. at Hope Café. Free photo opportunity for families with free donuts for the kids
Christmas Holiday Parade begins from Hudson Street west to Pierson Street at 7:30 p.m. through downtown Coldwater.
Coldwater Lions Club Trees of Light tree lighting at Four Corners Park. Immediately following the parade, the decorated trees dedicated to loved ones will be turned on for the holidays.
