Wisconsin football made an important move in the class of 2026 on Wednesday, flipping three-star offensive tackle Brady Bekkenhuis from Boston College.
247Sports ranks the Arlington, Massachusetts, native as the No. 394 overall player in the class, the No. 39 offensive tackle and the No. 3 player from his home state. Bekkenhuis had been committed to Boston College since Aug. 3, 2024, though he visited Wisconsin for its win over Illinois on Nov. 26.
Bekkenhuis’ addition is major news for a Wisconsin class of 2026 that recently saw its only two offensive line commits depart. With his addition, the class is up to 14 total commits. It now ranks No. 62 in the nation and No. 16 in the Big Ten.
Luke Fickell and his staff are still working on bolstering their class of 2026 with the Early Signing Period set to begin on Dec. 3. In addition, the program will need to work to retain top commits Amari Latimer and Jayden Petit, who have each recently received major interest from some of the sport’s top programs.
