Week 13 of the 2025 college football season is here, and that means my Big Ten predictions are back! Each week this season, I will be making my predictions for every Big Ten football game. These picks are not against the spread, but rather straight up which team I think will win.
Last week, I finally had my first perfect week of the season. Can I do it again this week? Here are my picks for Week 13:
Ohio State over Rutgers
Don’t overthink this one.
Northwestern over Minnesota
Northwestern goes bowling.
Oregon over USC
Give the Trojans credit for their impressive comeback against Iowa last week, but Oregon is a different animal.
Iowa over Michigan State
The Spartans still do not have a win in Big Ten play this year. That continues Saturday.
Michigan over Maryland
Michigan takes care of business and sets up a massive rivalry matchup with Ohio State next week.
Penn State over Nebraska
Penn State gets a win in the final home game for its star-studded senior class and moves closer to bowl eligibility.
Illinois over Wisconsin
Illinois’s win over USC continues to look more impressive by the week. The Illini have three losses, but two of them are to Ohio State and Indiana.
Washington over UCLA
This feels like massive game for Jedd Fisch. After losing to a horrible Wisconsin team two weeks ago, he cannot afford to lay another egg against hapless UCLA—who could be playing its final home game at the Rose Bowl.
