Five-star Iowa women’s basketball recruit Addison Bjorn has set her decision date. Per ESPN’s Shane Laflin, Bjorn will announce her college commitment on Nov. 20 at 11:15 a.m. CT from her high school, Park Hill South in Riverside, Mo.
The talented prospect from the Show-Me State will be deciding between Iowa, Kansas, UConn, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Duke and Texas. A 6-foot-2 standout, Bjorn is ranked as the country’s No. 9 player nationally, as the No. 2 small forward and as the top player in Missouri, per the 247Sports composite rankings.

Bjorn visited Iowa City from Sept. 25-28 and took in the Hawkeyes’ football date against Indiana.
Bjorn’s commitment date is set one day after the early signing period closes. Unless Bjorn were to sign and submit her papers before her announcement on Nov. 20, Bjorn would have to wait until April 15 to sign with the college of her choice.
Bjorn was recognized as Missouri’s 2024-25 Gatorade Player of the Year. At the time of her selection, Bjorn was averaging 22.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.3 steals per game.
Iowa has already signed five-star forward McKenna Woliczko in its 2026 class. Woliczko signed with Iowa over fellow finalists South Carolina, USC and Ohio State.
Woliczko was averaging 22.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game on 59% shooting last year before suffering a season-ending injury, which coach Jensen alluded to. In her sophomore season with Archbishop Mitty, Woliczko averaged 22.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
Woliczko is ranked as the No. 6 player nationally, as the No. 2 power forward and as the No. 2 player in California in the 2026 class per 247Sports.
Woliczko and Bjorn have played together with Team USA Basketball.
