Streetsboro voters considered Issue 24, a 5-mill additional continuing levy for current expenses that will be collected beginning in 2026. The levy will generate $3,884,962 annually. Property owners would pay $175 per year per $100,000 in appraised value. The levy would be continuous, meaning that voters won’t regularly approve the funding.

The issue continues to trail, 1,707 to 981.

Streetsboro voters have not approved new funding since 2019. The issue is identical to one rejected in the May primary election, according to district Treasurer Brian Haines. The issue was trailing according to early results, 278 to Streetsboro voters have not approved new funding since 2019. The issue held its narrow lead according to the second round of results, 24 to 21.

Local voters also weighed in on some school issues from Summit County districts whose boundaries cross over into Portage.
