For a third straight week, Michigan State hockey is ranked at the top of the USCHO.com national poll.
Michigan State was off last weekend, but that didn’t matter as the Spartans remained the No. 1 team in the country in the latest USCHO.com poll released on Monday. This is the third straight week that Michigan State is the top-ranked team in the country.
The Spartans are one of four Big Ten teams ranked in the top 10 of this week’s poll. Right behind them is Michigan at No. 2 and Penn State at No. 3, with Wisconsin coming in at No. 19. Ohio State is also ranked this week from the Big Ten, coming in at No. 19.
With Penn State moving up to No. 3 in the country, we now are set to see a top three battle between the Spartans and Nittany Lions this week. Michigan State will host Penn State for a two-game conference series, starting on Friday night.
